SAL MINEO is an American icon. In the late 1950's, Sal Mineo, was one of the
hottest movie stars in the world.
Twice nominated for an academy award for "Rebel without a cause", and "Exodus", Golden Globe winner for "Exodus", Emmy nominated for the TV production of "Dino", Sal's brilliant career spans three decades of magnificent work, cut short in 1976 by his tragic murder. He also had a short stint as a pop singer, which spawned a huge hit solo album, and 3 major top 40 singles. Not only a MAJOR movie star (one of the top 5 box office names for 6 years in a row), Sal Mineo, also had an exceptional resume on the stage, both on and off Broadway.
